Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 2391 -- Juvenile Court Hearings

Sponsor: Roorda

This bill requires the juvenile court to publish the time, date,
and location of certain juvenile proceedings in a conspicuous and
readily-accessible location in the courthouse. The posting
requirement applies in cases where the juvenile is accused of
conduct which, if committed by an adult, would be considered a
class A or B felony or for conduct which would be considered a
class C felony when the child has already been adjudicated for
two or more unrelated acts which would have been class A, B, or C
felonies if committed by an adult.
