HB 2495 -- Motor Fuel Tax

Sponsor:  Pollock

This bill reduces the motor fuel tax rate for 30 days from 17
cents to nine cents per gallon if the average price per gallon of
motor fuel in Missouri exceeds $3.49 for 10 consecutive days.  If
the average price per gallon of motor fuel in Missouri exceeds
$3.99 for 10 consecutive days, the motor fuel tax rate will be
zero until the average price per gallon of motor fuel is below
$3.99 at which time the tax rate will return to 17 cents per
gallon.
