HB 2500 -- Prescription Drug Insurance Coverage

This bill requires all health insurers providing prescription
drug coverage to provide coverage for all medications prescribed
by a physician or health care provider and any pharmacy that
receives a valid prescription to dispense the medication without
delay, consistent with the normal time frame for filling
prescriptions.  An insurer or licensed pharmacy will face
disciplinary action by his or her licensing board for a violation
of the provisions of the bill.
