HB 2593 -- Alternative Education Programs

Sponsor:  Bland

This bill requires 1% of the School Foundation Formula, except
categorical funds, to be distributed annually for alternative
schools beginning with Fiscal Year 2009.  Districts must offer
alternative education programs as a condition of receiving state
school aid beginning with Fiscal Year 2010.
