AN ACT

To amend chapter 208, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to health care benefits.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 208, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 208.199, to read as follows:

            208.199. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, including the provisions of this chapter:

            (1) The eligibility requirements for access to health care under sections 208.151 and 208.152 shall be no more restrictive than those in effect on January 10, 2005; and

            (2) The criteria for elderly Missourians accessing long-term care benefits, affordability standards for children accessing health care, cost-sharing requirements including copayments and premiums, and the provision of health care services in section 208.152 shall be no more restrictive than those requirements in effect on January 10, 2005.
