AN ACT
To amend chapter 217, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to minimum pay for certain corrections employees.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 217, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 217.107, to read as follows:
217.107. 1. Subject to appropriations and based upon rank and length of service the department of corrections shall authorize minimum amounts of compensation for certain (twenty-four hour, seven day a week, essential personnel) in accordance with the following tables, to be adjusted when starting salaries are increased. This shall be above and beyond normal cost of living increases.
