AN ACT

To amend chapter 37, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to state contracts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 37, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 37.950, to read as follows:

            37.950. If the overall size of a contract for a project being performed in this state precludes the use of in-state firms or contractors, all government and public agencies within this state shall break up such contract into smaller contracts.
