AN ACT

To amend chapter 256, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to well drillers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 256, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 256.609, to read as follows:

            256.609. Any person holding a valid license, certificate, registration, or permit from another state or territory of the United States having substantially the same requirements as this state for well installation contractors or pump installation contractors may grant a permit to engage in business in this state as a well installation contractor or pump installation contractor under sections 256.600 to 256.640 upon application to the division accompanied by the appropriate fee.
