AN ACT

To amend chapter 10, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of the state prehistoric mammal.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 10, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 10.097, to read as follows:

            10.097. The mastodon of the species Mammut americanus is hereby selected for, and shall be known as, the official prehistoric mammal of the state of Missouri.
