AN ACT

To amend chapter 566, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to felony sexual offenses, with a penalty provision.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 566, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 566.027, to read as follows:

            566.027. Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, any person who pleads guilty to or is found guilty of any felony sexual offense when the victim is sixteen years of age or younger and the defendant is twenty or more years older than the victim, shall be guilty of a class B felony, unless a greater penalty is already provided for in statute.
