AN ACT

To amend chapter 407, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to consumer cellular phone charges.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 407, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 407.1805, to read as follows:

            407.1805. No cellular phone business that does business in Missouri shall charge consumers minute usage for 911 calls. Such language shall be incorporated into the contract between the consumer and the cellular phone business. This section shall not apply to prepaid cellular phone plans where no monthly bill is disseminated.
