AN ACT

To amend chapter 441, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to landlords and tenants.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 441, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 441.648, to read as follows: 

            441.648. A landlord shall supply a tenant with either copies of the utility bills for the premises for the previous twelve months, or a written statement of the approximate average monthly utility bill for the premises during the previous twelve months, at the time a lease is entered into between the landlord and tenant, unless waived by the tenant in writing.
