AN ACT

To amend chapter 566, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to publicly exposing the female breast, with a penalty provision.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 566, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 566.105, to read as follows:

            566.105. 1. A person commits the crime of publicly exposing the female breast if such person knowingly fails to cover the nipple and areola of the female breast below a horizontal line across the top of the areola at its highest point. Exposing the female breast shall include the entire lower portion of the female breast, below the horizontal line across the top of the areola at its highest point, but shall not include any portion of the cleavage of the human female breast exhibited by wearing apparel provided the areola is not exposed in whole or in part. Exposing the female breast shall not include a woman who is breast-feeding, in accordance with section 191.918, RSMo.

            2. Publicly exposing the female breast is a class A misdemeanor.
