AN ACT

To repeal section 339.535, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to real estate appraisers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Section 339.535, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 339.535, to read as follows:

            339.535. State certified real estate appraisers and state licensed real estate appraisers shall comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice promulgated by the appraisal standards board of the appraisal foundation; provided, however, when a property in the subject area has been foreclosed, an appraiser shall not utilize the foreclosure price as a comparable property when developing an appraisal.
