HB 2 -- Federal Income Tax Deduction

This bill allows as a deduction from state individual income tax
any amount of federal credit received for the accelerated 10%
income tax bracket for tax year 2001 or any amount of advanced
refund of such credit as provided for in section 6428(e) of the
Internal Revenue Code, to the extent such credit or advanced
refund would otherwise increase the Missouri taxable income of a
taxpayer.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
