93rd General Assembly


  Rep. Danie Moore, a Republican, represents parts of Callaway County (District 20) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

 Prior to being elected to the House, Rep. Moore was a teacher. She taught French and English at Fulton High School from 1970-1996 and was an elementary remedial reading teacher in Glasgow, Mo., from 1968-1970.

 A member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fulton, Rep. Moore is also a member of the following organizations: Fulton Rotary; VFW Post 2657 Auxiliary; Fulton Optimist; Callaway County Pachyderm Club; Callaway County Farm Bureau; Callaway County Red Cross, executive advisory board; Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society and Chamber of Commerce; Kingdom of Callaway Retired Teachers; Missouri Literacy Association, board of directors; Advisory Board member of Prevent Child Abuse Missouri; Missouri Sentencing Advisory Commission; National Order of Women Legislators; National Association of Sportsman Legislators; NRA; NAACP; and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.

 Rep. Moore twice received the Excellence in Education award from the Fulton Public School system and in 1998 was the recipient of the Missouri Federated Republican Women Tribute award.

 A 1964 graduate of Elsberry High School; Rep. Moore received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French and English from Central Methodist College in 1968.

 Born June 24, 1946 in Paris, France, Rep. Moore lives in Fulton with her husband Lisle H. Moore, Jr. They have two children: Melinda Ann Henry and Lisle H. Moore, III. She also enjoys the company of their six grandchildren.
