PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that this bill would allow more
frozen venison to be donated to the popular Share the Harvest
charitable meat donation program.

HB 1610 -- Tort Liability in Food Donation

Sponsor:  Farnen

This bill repeals the requirement that venison be "ground" and,
instead, requires it to be frozen in order to qualify as a type
of food which may be donated with limited tort liability from
injuries resulting from such foods.
