Rep. Rocky Johnson's Bio


Rep. Mitchell E. (Rocky) Johnson, a Democrat, represents part of St. Genevieve and St. Francois counties (District 107) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Johnson is a business representative for Iron Worker=s Local #396. Previously, he was an iron worker and a professional rodeo rider.

He is the president of the Southeast Missouri Building Trades Council, a member of the Executive Board for the Missouri State Building and Construction Trades Council, a member of the Baptist Church and a past president of Eagles Lodge-Farmington Arie.

Rep. Johnson attended Woodland R-4 High School and received his G.E.D. from the South Dakota School of Mines.

Born April 9, 1945, in Grassy, Rep. Johnson currently resides in Desloge with his wife, Mary Alice. He has seven children; Angela Tiffany Seals, Holli Jo Holliday, Mitchell Kip Johnson, Ernie Bowen, Ray Bowen, Eric Bowen and Elaine Welch.
