INTRODUCED
HB 2144 -- Lobbying of the General Assembly
Sponsor: Patek
This bill prohibits state funds from being used in any manner to
influence members of the General Assembly. Any state employee
or department violating this law is guilty of a class A
misdemeanor and will be subject to removal from employment. The
bill does not prohibit a state employee or department from
communicating with the General Assembly.
