Biography
Representative Ed Lewis, a Republican, represents Randolph, and Macon counties (District 6) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2020.
Before serving in the legislature, Lewis worked as a high school educator for 32 years in Vandalia and Moberly, teaching chemistry and physics. Rep. Lewis also worked at Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly for 30 years.
Born in Savanah, Missouri, Lewis attended Central High School in St. Joseph before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in education from Mizzou. He completed a master’s degree in chemistry from Pittsburg State University.
Lewis lives in Moberly with his wife, Sarah. They have four children, nine grandchildren, and are members of the Timber Lake Christian Church.
