Rep. Justin Hill, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 108) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2014.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Hill currently is an Employee Benefits Consultant. He previously served with the O’Fallon Police Department for 13 years. During that time, Rep. Hill was assigned to the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force as an undercover detective and to the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Task Force Officer. Rep. Hill finished his law enforcement career as a patrol sergeant in 2014.
Rep. Hill attended De Smet Jesuit High School in Creve Coeur, MO. He holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from St. Louis Community College and a bachelor’s degree in management from Bellevue University.
Rep. Hill, his wife Mandy, and their four children are members of the Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne.
Changes the law regarding private probation supervision services by prohibiting drug and alcohol screen tests unrelated to the offense and requiring the use of earned compliance credits
Requires certain municipal police departments in St. Louis County to consolidate with another municipal police department or the St. Louis County Police Department
Specifies that lawful owners of firearms may transport or store the firearms in locked, privately-owned motor vehicles
Changes the law relating to short term medical policies sold in the state of Missouri
Modifies the duration of unemployment compensation, modifies the method to pay federal advances, and raises the fund trigger causing contribution rate reductions
Establishes the Driving Automation Systems Uniformity Act
Requires the word count of a referendum bill or constitutional amendment to appear in bold on the ballot with the summary of said initiative or referendum
Creates the Missouri Reinsurance Plan
Encourages and urges Major League Soccer to give serious consideration to placing one of its expansion teams in St. Louis
