Biography
Representative Mike McGirl, a Republican, represents parts of Jefferson and Washington counties (District 118) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2018.
In addition to his legislative duties, McGirl is a Certified Public Accountant, serving the Potosi area for more than 34 years. He served as the Washington County Collector for 24 years, winning six straight terms.
He is a member of the St. James Catholic Church, Rotary International, Elks, Knights of Columbus, and local Chambers of Commerce.
McGirl holds a degree in Business and Accounting from The College of the Ozarks.
A lifelong resident of Washington County, McGirl currently resides in Potosi and his wife, Diane. They have three children.
