Biography
Rep. Chris Dinkins, a Republican, represents Iron County and parts of Washington, Wayne and Reynolds Counties (District 144) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first term in a special election February, 2018.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Dinkins is a former public school teacher who still substitutes at local schools throughout the district when called upon. Rep. Dinkins and her husband are small business owners in Reynolds County where they own and operate a campground and float outfitter. Prior to her election, Rep. Dinkins served as a legislative assistant in the House of Representatives for Representatives Jim Neely and Paul Fitzwater.
Rep. Dinkins is a graduate of Clearwater R-1 High School and received her Bachelors of Administration from Central Methodist University and her Master of Education from Webster University.
Born in Piedmont, Missouri, Rep. Dinkins currently resides in Annapolis with her husband Dave Dinkins on their family farm. They attend Happy Zion General Baptist Church of Annapolis, have two children, Joshua (Blair) Dinkins and Brett Dinkins, and are proud grandparents to Greyson and Asher Dinkins.
