Rep. Michael Revis, a Democrat, represents part of Jefferson County (District 97) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected in a special election on February 6, 2018.
As the proud son of a carpenter and a school teacher, Rep. Revis has experienced firsthand the ups and downs that a middle class working family can go through. As a legislator, he is committed to fighting for education, early childhood development, health issues and jobs and the economy.
After graduating from Rockwood Summit High School, Rep. Revis attended the University of Missouri where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
Rep. Revis considers public service and community involvement a way of life. He is involved with St. Patrick’s Rock Church in Catawissa, the Recent Alumni Advisory Board for Trulaske College of Business at Mizzou, the College of Business Advisory Board – St. Louis Chapter, and the Associates Council for the Missouri Athletic Club.
