Rep. Jean Evans, a Republican, represents parts of St. Louis County (District 99) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2016.

In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Evans is a real estate agent and investor. She has coached and officiated volleyball for 30 years.

Rep. Evans is on the Nurses for Newborns Board of Directors. She is the former President of the Professional Women’s Alliance for St. Louis, and has worked at Westminster Christian Academy. She has served on the Boards for USA Volleyball Gateway Region and the National Association of Women Business Owners. She received the President George W. Bush Award for Volunteerism in 2006. She is a member of Breakthrough Coalition and a co-founder of a Senior Resource Team.

Rep. Evans received the 2017 Catalyst Award from the St. Louis Regional Chamber, and the 2017 Distinguished Legislator Award from the Missouri Community College Association.

Rep. Evans graduated from Westminster Christian Academy in 1983. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history in 1990 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Rep. Evans was born in Ft. Hood, Texas. She currently resides in St. Louis.
