Biography
Representative Travis Smith, a Republican, represents Douglas, Ozark and Taney Counties (District 155) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2020.
Prior to serving in the legislature, Smith was a private developer and high school track coach. He had the pleasure of coaching more than 20 all-state athletes in Track and Field.
Smith earned a BA in English from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from William Woods University. He currently serves as the secretary for the Ozarks Healthcare Board.
Born in West Plains, Smith now resides in Twin Bridges with his wife, Karen. They have four children.
