Biography
Representative Melanie Stinnett, a Republican, represents Greene County (District 133) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2022.
In addition to her legislative duties, Stinnett is a healthcare executive and speech-language pathologist. A majority of her career has been spent as a small business owner with a recent transition to working in the non-profit sector.
She holds three degrees from Missouri State University: a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration.
Stinnett currently resides in Springfield with her husband, Nathan, and their two sons.
