Biography

State Representative Tricia Byrnes, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 63) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2022.

Rep. Byrnes began her career in 1996, leading eCommerce marketing for Fortune 100 and global consumer brands, where she helped pioneer the early online purchasing experience that transformed how Americans shop. After 2008, she continued consulting with small businesses, helping them modernize their marketing and thrive in the new digital economy.

In recent years, Rep. Byrnes became a leading advocate for families impacted by federal nuclear bomb contamination. Her work helped advance federal legislation for long-overdue compensation and exposed fatal chatbot errors in the 988 crisis lifeline — prompting national reform.

In the legislature, she continues to champion reform in property tax, education, anti-bullying policy, veterans’ care, environmental justice, and the protection of missing and exploited children
