Biography

Representative John Martin, a Republican, proudly represents part of Boone County (District 44) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2024.

Martin holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Theology degree from Midwestern Baptist Seminary. He is the owner of Pro Pumping and Hydrojetting, LLC, and has a strong background in community leadership, having served as a pastor in Hallsville and Columbia.

Outside of his legislative duties, Martin is actively involved in his community. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Boone County Farm Bureau, and he volunteers with the 4-H and FFA programs. He also organizes the Back the Blue Back the Flag Rally and coaches little league baseball, demonstrating his dedication to both local youth and law enforcement.

Martin is happily married to his wife, Lisa, and together they have four children. Family and community are at the heart of his work, and he is committed to serving his constituents in the Missouri House with integrity and care.
