Biography
Rep. Derek Grier, a Republican, represents St. Louis County (parts of Chesterfield, Ballwin, Winchester, and Town and Country). He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2016.
In addition to his legislative responsibilities, Rep. Grier owns and operates a small business in the St. Louis region, Grier Realty Group, which focused on commercial and residential brokerage, property management and consulting. He has been an active member of numerous business organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, Progress 64 West, and the Urban Land Institute. Rep. Grier holds a Broker’s license with the Missouri Real Estate Commission, is a member of the St. Louis Realtors Association, and has a B.A. in business administration from Principia College.
Rep. Grier has lived in and around the 100th District for most of his life and currently resides in the district with his wife, Ashley. He is the proud father of two boys, Jack and Logan.
