Biography
Representative Renee Reuter, a Republican, represents part of Jefferson County (District 112) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2022.
In addition to serving in the legislature, Reuter is an intellectual property attorney with Armstrong Teasdale in St. Louis. She previously worked as the first in-house intellectual property attorney for the largest car rental company in the world.
Prior to her service in the legislature, Reuter served for 12 years on the Jefferson County Council. She was the first chairman of the 7-member council and served as either chair or vice chair for seven of her 12 years on the council.
Reuter is a graduate of Windsor High School. She graduated cum laude from Colorado College with a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science. Reuter obtained her Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law.
Reuter is a member of the Missouri Bar Association. She attends Immanuel Lutheran Church in Barnhart.
Born in St. Louis, Reuter now lives in Imperial with Liberty, her Labrador Retriever. She has two grown children, one grandson, and one granddaughter.
